Current Projects

SPEAK

SPECS

Help develop and validate perceptual measures for evidence-based clinical speech assessment!

GLEAM

Help us to better understand how children with motor impairments learn words!

SPARK

Help us understand speech and communication development in spinal muscular atrophy!

We are always looking for adult listeners to come to the WISC Lab in person at the Waisman Center to rate intelligibility of children’s speech.

Est. 2003

We appreciate all of the children, young adults, and families who have contributed to our research. Their time and commitment are leading to important new insights into how communication develops in individuals with cerebral palsy (CP) and other neuro-developmental conditions.
