Jairo Alejandro Martínez

Biography

Jairo Alejandro Martínez is a Ph.D. student in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research interests focus on applied probability and optimal decision making in healthcare systems. He is originally from Medellín, Colombia, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Engineering and a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics. Before starting his Ph.D., he worked as a data analyst in the insurance sector.
