Helen Long

Biography

Helen Long, PhD, CCC-SLP is a postdoctoral research trainee and former school-based speech-language pathologist. She received her PhD with Kim Oller from the University of Memphis in 2020 studying social and nonsocial factors influencing infant vocalizations as fitness signals. Her current research interests are in prelinguistic and early speech development of children with cerebral palsy and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
